What should I ask my business coach to teach me?

I’ve been seeing a business coach and pay them every week to “polish me up”. The lessons start very simple i.e. what fork to use. I want more advance lessons such as , How To Command A Room. What are other examples can you think of that are more advanced and will help me be a more polished business person?

I have managed employees. I have also used a coach. I used my coach to teach me techniques to giving speeches in front of large groups. It was a great learning experience. The #1 thing I would expect to learn is how to communicate effectively verbally and written (including emails). Also important is time management and goal setting & how to recognize steps you’ll need to take to obtain each set goals. The cool thing about coaches is that you should be able to make the sessions very specific to your personal needs in regards to your strengths and weaknesses. I would make a list of what you think you need to move forward and review with the coach and go from there.
